Avon Valley Woodlands

Picture of Avon Valley WoodlandsRunning adjacent to the River Avon and the River Avon Trail recreational route, Conham River Park and the woodlands of the Avon Valley are wonderful woodlands to visit. Avon Valley Woodland is a broadleaf woodland with some ancient woodland and is a Site of Nature Conservation Interest. It is owned by South Gloucestershire Council and is a Local Nature Reserve covering 20 hectares (50 acres).

Access

It has a good network of hard surfaced and un-surfaced paths, a car park and picnic benches.

How to get there...

You can get to Avon Valley Woodlands through Conham River Park or via the River Avon Trail
