Bristol and Bath Railway Path

The Bristol and Bath Railway Path now has its own website with loads of information about the path and an interactive map. Check it out at www.bristolbathrailwaypath.org.uk

This 13 mile path provides a great off-road route between Bristol and Bath, taking you through some of the best countryside in the Avon Valley with terrific views of the South Cotswolds.

You can also enjoy the steam trains on the Avon Valley Railway www.avonvalleyrailway.org – a handy halfway point along the route for refreshments, which can be bought in the railway café.

Access

The Path is all off-road on mostly level, high quality, hard surfaces making it a safe and pleasant day out for everyone.

How to get there

The two ends of the Path are at Trinity Street in Lawrence Hill, Bristol and Brass Mill Lane on the west side of Bath but you can join the route at a number of points in between.
