A National Community Forest Partner

Lawrence Weston Moor, Lawrence Weston

An ancient landscape of wet meadows, ponds and willow trees, Lawrence Weston Moor is a rich habitat, full of damp loving plants such as ragged robin, marsh marigold and marsh arrowgrass. It is a very 'wet' site so wellies are a good idea, particularly after heavy rain!

Access

The Forest of Avon, the Wildlife Trust and Bristol City Council have recently completed a number of access improvements at the site to create a pleasant circular walk.

How to get there...

You can get to Lawrence Weston Moor through the main entrance on Lawrence Weston Road. Although you cannot drive down this road, there is a car park close by to the entrance, the car park is in front of an allotment and you will need to walk behind the allotment to get into the site.
